Steps
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Season chicken legs with kosher salt, black pepper, and Bam Bam chicken rub.
- Roast chicken legs at 450°F for about 60 minutes until crispy.
- Bake tater tots in the oven per package directions while the chicken cooks.
- Make the sauce: Add Frank's RedHot to a pan, then stir in honey, garlic powder, white pepper, black pepper, crushed red pepper, brown sugar, orange zest, and the juice of the orange.
- Finish sauce with butter and heat until butter melts and the sauce is smooth and combined.
- Transfer sauce to a bowl or pan and set aside.
- Toss crispy chicken legs in the honey buffalo sauce to coat.
