  • chicken thighs
  • soy sauce
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • scallion (green onion) whites
  • garlic
  • butter
  • mirin
  • honey

Steps

  1. Season chicken thighs with soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook the chicken thighs in a pan until browned and cooked through; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add scallion whites and minced garlic; sauté briefly.
  4. Add soy sauce, butter, mirin, and honey; cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce; heat through and serve.
