Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs, boneless skinless, diced - 1.5 lb (680 g)
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • Seasoning blend (salt, pepper, paprika) - 1.5 tsp
  • Unsalted butter - 4 tbsp (56 g)
  • Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
  • Parmesan cheese, grated - 1/3 cup (30 g)

Steps

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes; if using wooden skewers, soak them while you prep.
  2. In a bowl, toss {{Chicken thighs, boneless skinless, diced:1.5 lb (680 g)}} with {{Olive oil:1 tbsp}} and {{Seasoning blend (salt, pepper, paprika):1.5 tsp}} until evenly coated, then thread the chicken onto skewers.
  3. Make the garlic-Parmesan butter: gently melt {{Unsalted butter:4 tbsp (56 g)}}, then stir in {{Garlic, minced:3 cloves}} and {{Parmesan cheese, grated:1/3 cup (30 g)}}; set aside (reserve some for finishing).
  4. Arrange the skewers in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes.
  5. Flip the skewers and baste with the garlic-Parmesan butter; cook 4–5 minutes. Flip and baste once more; cook another 4–5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (165°F/74°C).
  6. Remove and immediately brush with the remaining garlic-Parmesan butter; rest 2–3 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve hot as skewers or tuck into flatbreads, or pair with your favorite sides.
